A restaurant for everyone, with sunny Spanish flavors and a terrace overlooking the Rotterdam skyline.
21 Pinchos has two locations in Rotterdam. One in the Markthal and one on Katendrecht, right by the water at the Rijnhaven in the striking Fenix I building. You sit here on one of the most beautiful terraces in the city. Sun on your face, water views and the smell of fresh tapas. It’s a favorite spot for lovers of Spanish food.
A restaurant for everyone?
Cas: “Absolutely. Whether you’re vegetarian, a meat lover, young or old, very hungry or just peckish, there’s something for everyone. Our menu has pinchos and tapas with meat, fish, vegetables or combinations. Everything is easy to share so you can mix what you like.”
Where does the name come from?
“A pincho, Spanish for skewer, is a richly topped piece of bread with a stick in it. They come from northern Spain and look like small artworks. You can choose them yourself at the bar or let our team surprise you. Besides pinchos, we serve hot and cold tapas to share. Mix, match, taste and share, or keep it all to yourself. Still hungry? Just order more. Relaxed dining without rules. That’s what 21 Pinchos stands for.”
Can you eat late, like in Spain?
“Yes. The kitchen is open daily until 10 pm. Also ideal before a theater or concert visit. You order what you want, share what you like and it arrives quickly. No long formal dinners, just good food in a relaxed setting. On weekends you can also come for lunch, and we keep going all day, no siesta. Walking in is sometimes possible, but from Thursday on it’s smart to reserve. We fill up quickly.”
